Premier Cricket fixtures cancelled in response to COVID-19 outbreak

The Sydney Cricket Association has decided to cancel or postpone all Premier Cricket and Shires fixtures scheduled for 19, 20 and 22 December in the interests of public health and safety.

The decision was made based on medical advice in response to the recent COVID-19 outbreak on the Northern Beaches of Sydney.

The cancelled and postponed fixtures include the following:

Saturday 19th December 2020:

Play in ALL Premier (Men’s & Women’s) and Shires matches is cancelled. Any Men’s First or Second Grade matches that achieved a result on day one, last Saturday, the result and player statistics shall stand.

Sunday 20th December 2020:

Play in ALL Women’s and Shires matches is cancelled; and there will be no play in ALL AW Green Shield matches.

Sunday 20th December: The Kingsgrove Sports T20 Cup Conference Finals have been postponed to Sunday 10 January 2021, with the T20 Cup Final postponed to Australia Day, Tuesday 26 January 2021.

Tuesday 22 December 2020: No play in ALL AW Green Shield matches.

The SCA is exploring its options to reschedule the above AW Green Shield matches.
